Corporate wellness programs/packages
Motivate your employees and increase their productivity by giving them the resources to become healthy and active. A physically fit staff gets sick less often and has fewer injuries and doctor appointments, which boosts morale and reduces health care costs.
Heart rate education
Working at a proper heart rate based on your age and fitness goals is very important to an effective workout. AHS trainers will assist you in finding the proper heart rate range to shoot for during your workouts. This will help you to burn fat more efficiently, as well as burn the maximum amount of calories and strengthen your heart and lungs.
Outdoor camps
Outdoor camps, or “boot camp”-style training, is a great way to jumpstart your summer fitness program. These camps will provide a mixture of cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and agility training all while taking in the beautiful outdoors. Outdoor camps can be done for large groups of ten or more, or for a few individuals looking for a fun way to stay fit and enjoy the weather.
Health and nutrition seminars
Health and nutrition seminars are designed to introduce companies to new on-site fitness facilities, or to bring life back into a facility that isn’t getting proper traffic. An AHS trainer will visit the on-site facility and take employees through the equipment to demonstrate proper technique, give suggestions on weights and reps and answer any fitness- and wellness-related questions. Nutrition seminars are a great way to get everyone thinking about wellness as a whole. Our certified nutritionist will give a seminar covering the many important aspects of a healthy diet. Health and nutrition seminars are available for a weekly, monthly or one-time basis.
Small group training
Small group training is for individuals who need a little extra support. These sessions are designed for two to five people who are at a similar fitness level. Sessions involve periods of cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and agility training based on the goals of the collective group. Small group training is also a great way to allow everyone affordable access to a personal trainer, as well as to provide extra motivation and support to and from other group members.
Neuro-linguistic programming
A licensed neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) coach will work with clients to change unconscious behaviors that no longer support conscious goals. If the goal of the client is to lose weight, but the behavior of the client is to eat for comfort, protection or security, the behavior does not support the goal. NLP coaching can help the client find a solution to create new perceptions and behavior.
